Durhans White Beach Resort

Aside from my passion in Mountain Climbing I also love beaches here in our Archipelago.  So when Maria Carla one of my friend  invited us to visit and spend our weekend at the resort. I admittedly excited and I accepted the invitation without any hesitation, not only it is my first time in the resort but also to escape from my busy lifestyle in the city.

They said that Durhans White Beach Resort is a little paradise of the North because of its fine whitesand, famous shoreline, well maintained beachfront, quiet and  accommodating staff. Well, I will tell you later my experiences during my 1 night and 2 days stay on the resort but before that I will give you some useful information to help you in your stay in the place.

Durhans White Beach Resort is a 90 kilometers away from the metropolis and it takes 3 - 4 hours by bus at Cebu North Bus Terminal. Going there you will passed Liloan, Danao and Sogod so sit back and relax while enjoying the sea scape and mountain scape of the province plus the bumpy and semi concreted road so don't expect to much for a lesser disappointment - just enjoy.

Simply, just take a bus in Cebu North Bus Terminal it's either be a Ceres Bus bound to Tabuelan or Meme that will directly pass infront the beach gate . The regular fare rates are between Php90.00 to Php140.00.

From Terminal just ride a Single motorcycle going to the resort for about 15 minutes by paying only Php15.00

My Over all Verdict:

In our travel there's always a bad and good impression that our mind would remembered. Sometimes, we tend to hear only good feedback/reviews and we opted the bad one. Bad reviews will help us to correct what we (think) traditionally do and change for a better one. Below are the factors I wasn't impressed by the Resort:

There's a lot of seaweeds in the shoreline - and it's everywhere.
Foods are so expensive but not tastes good.
Utensils rental are expensive too.
Other guests are so noisy - they even shout.

There is a low pressure inside PAR the time when we were there so we failed to see and appreciate the sunset view and enjoy bluish water reflected from the lofty skies. However, I am planning to visit once again the resort during next summer. See yeah!
